Leisure Pleasure
Men in uniform are always on the look out for
leisure and tours to a get away for a while fro the rigours of their daily
routine with boots on. Many of us have made use of the time whenever they had to
take a break and move about freely and leisurely. We are devoting this section
for those who who traveled abroad and met old friends and made new ones. MZK
always takes the lead and we are starting from him and his PMA days' pal Jamil
in Canada. Others may also contribute to add colours to the site.
This summers, I
along with my family took a trip to UK, Europe (France & Germany) and
Scandinavia (Denmark, Sweden & Norway). From beginning Jun till mid Jul 2011,
it was a much awaited relief from the sizzling summers and other environmental
stresses. Though most of the destinations were a repetition, it still had lot
of charm for my family in the form of relaxation and peace of mind prevailing
all around. T
he trip had lot of
things for all of us: Muhammad Ali was excited to meet his cousins, enjoy
variety of fast food, feel the technology's application in the routine life and
experience some thrilling joy rides. Najeeba explored some good season's sales
and was happy to 'save' a lot of Pounds Sterling and Euros. For me, meeting my
brother's family in Manchester and seeing some old friends all around was
cherishable. It was fun to explore some new tourist attractions and local food
&
drinks.
I also found some relaxing river walks and cool
evenings
at various sea-sights. The most exciting part for the whole family was a two way
sea cruise between Copenhagen and Oslo spreading over 17 hours either side. Once
back home after six weeks vacation, we find ourselves fully 'recharged' to take
on the life's pressures and challenges.
